Patricia D. Simon (Tracy) is a Registered Psychologist from the Philippines and a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Education and Psychology at Hong Kong Baptist University. She obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology from De La Salle University. She has been involved in social development research since 2017, and her work is focused on addressing three UN Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-Being (SDG3), Quality Education (SDG4), and Climate Action (SDG13). Broadly, her research can be summarized as falling under the area of research can be summarized as falling under the area of mental health and well-being of youth and other vulnerable populations, climate/environmental education, and digital technology in education and mental health. She has been involved in research funded by UNICEF, Safer Kids, The Asia Foundation and the Population Council as a PhD student and later on as a faculty at DLSU. As a performing arts enthusiast, she aspires to someday be able to incorporate music, dance or theater in her academic endeavors.
